Make Your Voice Heard: Participate in the AIAA Standards Process
AIAA is pleased to announce the availability of new or revised standards for broad public review and comment. In compliance with its ANSI-accredited Standards Program Procedures, AIAA provides this public forum to ensure that all materially affected parties are afforded the opportunity to express concerns or objections with its draft standards. AIAA consensus bodies responsible for the standards are required to provide timely consideration to the written views submitted as a result of this review. [more info]
Public Review of AIAA S-102 Standards on Reliability and Maintainability
The first six documents in the AIAA S-102 family of standards for reliability and maintainability have been completed. They were made available for public review previously as the drafts were finished. In the course of editing them to assure alignment of similar requirements, additional material has been inserted. For this reason, these documents are being made available again. It is recommended that reviewers examine the FMECA document at the same time as reviewing the others in order to appreciate fully the significance of the intended approach of these management standards.
