Dear Members,
With year 2000 that will end soon, my mandate as President of the Chapter will end also. After more than two years as President, it is time to pass the flame. The whole executive is to be renewed, Flavio and Frederic decided to retire and Charles is thinking about it. The survival of the Chapter is in your hands. Who will maintain alive this institution in 2001? A representation from Bombardier is required, where there is a majority of our members.
Overall activities in 2000 have been thin, especially members participation. The visit at Pratt & Whitney has been cancelled. The visit of Pega Precision has been held on May 23 with very few participants. Now, with Autumn going on we will have our annual meeting on November 28, 2000.
Hoping to meet many members at our next activity.
Our annual meeting for 1999 will be held on November 28, 2000 at Casa Greque on Prince Arthur. As this will be our annual general meeting, I urge all members to attend, the survival of our chapter depends on it.

For members that have paid their 2000 dues, the SRE will foot the bill for food and wine.
For all activities the involvement of all members is essential; as always all input and suggestions are requested and welcome.
The annual dues of $25 will be requested for year 2000. Members present will then be invited to pay these dues, otherwise, please do so by sending your check to SRE at :
