Abstract:
When BalaDyne was incorporated in 1981, active balancing systems were only used on precision grinding machines. After developing proprietary fluid technology for grinders, the company went on to pioneer the application of active balancing systems to industrial fans, reactor cooling pumps, turbo-machinery, turning equipment, tool holders and high speed machining. BalaDyne became a wholly owned subsidiary of Lord Corporation on March 30, 2001. Lord's extensive background in vibration accommodation and control for aerospace and industrial markets promises to extend BalaDyne's breakthrough technology to a wide array of new applications.

Typically, the police are one of the first respondents to the scene and sometimes they will also reconstruct the accident. The NYS police have vast experience in this. The cause may be human error, environment, or vehicle related. Therefore, the reconstruction might provide some lessons learned for both driver education and for designing safer vehicles.
